HeavyHardMetalmania: MASSIVE SLAVERY and ROCKGAMER STUDIOS Produce 1st Song with True Double Bass for The Rock Band Video Game

Canadian death metal band MASSIVE SLAVERY will have the honour of introducing the concept of 'true authentic double bass drumming' for The Rock Band Video Game via their song "Humanity's Last Hope".

According to a press release from RockGamer Studios who are producing 2 versions of this song; one regular version with a single kick drum, and one Expert version with double bass drums.

This is MASSIVE SLAVERY's breakout track from their debut album 'GLOBAL ENSLAVEMENT presented here in a '2x Bass Pedal' [*] version, with each and every kick drum note charted exactly as played in the song on Expert Drums. Do you have what it takes to keep up with Pierre-Alexandre Mercier's brutal, unstoppable beats? [*] Disclaimer: A double bass pedal setup is an option required in order to play this song on Expert Drums. All other instruments and difficulty levels are identical to the regular edition of the song."

Soon it will be possible to download it for play on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from the Rock Band Network, at a cost of $ 1.99. The band is hoping to gain greater exposure from this release, plus the official Video for 'Humanity's Last Hope' will be launched at the end of November.

'Global Enslavement' was released in July by Maple Metal Records, and produced by Yannick St-Amand (Despised Icon, Augury, and Beneath The Massacre).

MASSIVE SLAVERY consists of Jon 'The Prof' St-Pierre on vocals, Joel St-Amant on guitar, Marc-André Barrette on bass and Pierre-Alexandre Mercier on drums.
