Poisonblack releases new album Drive on April 27th
The lead single Mercury Falling is a great taster from Poisonblack's upcoming album Drive. The album was recorded in Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Sick Of It All), and the result is the perfect blend of relentless pounding and somber moments. Poisonblack has never sounded this good before. The fans' reactions to the new single have been overwhelmingly positive, and they are sure to be even more pleasantly surprised once the new album arrives.
"We have a very positive feeling about the new record. We had a more raw and organic approach with the production, and I think we've found the way we want to do our music and how we want it to sound. The studio sessions were surprisingly relaxed", says drummer Tarmo Kanera.
Poisonblack's fifth album Drive will be released in Scandinavia on April 27th. The release dates for the rest of Europe will be confirmed later. Drive will be released in Japan on April 20th.
Poisonblack will be doing extensive touring in Finland after the release of the album, and they've already confirmed a main stage slot at UK's biggest heavy metal festival Bloodstock on August 12th.
