HeavyHardMetalmania: SETGE Death And Black Metal From Barcelona

SETGE is a band from Barcelona,it's music is based on Death Metal and Black Metal styles,but also other styles derived from Heavy Metal.

In February 2006 J.Luis Gonzalez (Drummer),a very talented music and ex-member from other bands like "Deathless", "Sandalinas","Quivira" and "Killing Machine" (a tribute band from the legendaries "Judas Priest") and Aamon (Singer) ex-member from the band "Wintermoon" decided to form a new band.

In the early months a retinue of musics passed through the band.Names like Alvaro C. Guillen "Cryogen",Miquel Llodrà "Deathless",David Saavedra "Lux Divina",Christian C. "La Matanza",but for differents reasons didn't remain in the band.At the middle of that year Pablo Seijo (Bassist) ex-member from "Quivira" and the Venezuelan Alexander Nuñez (Guitarist) who had militated in the band "Noxious" from his country were recluted and started to compossed new themes.

It wasn't 'til January 2007 when the band completed a full cercle.Victor Casado (Guitarist) an old Jose's friend with whom had shared the stage with the band Sandalinas became a new member of the band.

Then the band debuted in the extreme music festival Kanya!!! a Sant Climent IV on March 3rd,2007.But Victor Casado wasn't able to play that event so Toni Phackner "Nada Suitte" subsituted him for that night.It was also the night when Pablo Seijo quit the band and Xavi Brossa "Caustic" accepted the vacancy.

Whit the new line-up the band kept compossing themes and playing in diverse venues and festivals all over the country.The songs were recorded but the work itself wasn't realiased 'til 15 monts after.

At the beggining of 2009 summer Xavi brossa decided to left the band in a friendly way and he was subsituted by J.Luis "Johanson" Castillo "Resilence" who debuted as new member of the band at the Raventfest'09 in Barcelona.

In November 2009 the first band's album "Cecs de ràbia.Cecs de dolor'' came out.It was self-edited and registered at the AxStudios in Barcelona between April and September 2008.The music was compossed by Alexander Nuñez and the arrangements by SETGE,except the Intro "Sota el setge" compossed by Jose Luis Gonzalez & Vicen "Quatreros".

Lyrics are wrotten by Jose Luis Gonzalez & Aamon entirety in catalan and corrected by Judit Pons "Kabal".Setge's logo is done by Xavi Brossa.Pictures by Judit Vericat and the front Artwork,booklet and inlay by Albert "Pels" Pascual "Evil Side".
