Chicago's indie powerhouse TRIALS have posted two songs from their forthcoming, self-released debut Witness to the Downfall on StereoKiller.com. The tunes, "Hammer" and "This Is Starvation," are only two examples of the band's excellent blend ofbrawny modern thrash and muscular melodic metal. Featuring a riff arsenal and tuneful sensibility that rivals the likes of MACHINE HEAD, SYL and GOJIRA, the musical approach taken by TRIALS on Witness to the Downfall, which is set to drop on August 1st, is not only refreshing, memorable, and musically penetrating, it is ridiculously intense! Featuring a mixing/mastering job from Lasse Lammert (ALESTORM), artwork by Seth Siro Anton (SEPTIC FLESH, PARADISE LOST, etc), and the drumming of former member Sasha Horn (NOVEMBERS DOOM, THESE ARE THEY), Witness to the Downfall will leave you bruised, beaten, and hopelessly addicted.
