Goomba Music has entered into a exclusive licensing agreement with Arms Division to release Puddle of Mudd’s “Re:(Disc)overed” album for the world, outside of North America. The album will be released throughout Europe on October 3rd.
“Re:(disc)overed” is an entirely different kind of endeavor for the group, which has been churning out its own material since Wesley Scantlin formed the band nearly 20 years ago in Kansas City, MO. This time Puddle of Mudd have put down their pens in favor of recording 11 of their favorite rock songs of all time including classic songs by the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, the Steve Miller Band, AC/DC, Elton John and many others.
The first single from “Re:(disc)overed”, Gimme Shelter, currently sits at Number 28 on the Active Rock Charts and is one of the USA’s hottest tracks.
Puddle of Mudd will be co-headlining a tour of the United Kingdom with Soil, who is reuniting with original vocalist Ryan McCombs to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of their “Scars” album:
