[maua] is a thrash/technical death metal band formed in Aracaju/SE-Brazil by Erico Groman (vocals), André Cabral (guitar), Maha Feitosa (guitar), Jess Webb (bass), Diego Gonçalves (drums).
In mid-2009 the EP entitled "Conscience" was released, bringing 5 heavy tracks merged with rhythmic/grooved sound. Since then, the band have been playing many local gigs and also around the northeast of Brazil having a very good reception in the rock/metal scene. Now [maua] is working on a new full length album which has no release date yet, but planning on the end of 2011 or beginning of 2012, so stay tuned.

Em meados de 2009, o EP intitulado "Conscience" foi lançado, trazendo cincofaixas pesadas mescladas com trabalho de pesquisa rítmico/groove. Desde então,a banda tem tocado em muitos locais e também em todo o Nordeste do Brasil tendo uma recepção muito boa na cena rock / metal. Agora [maua] está trabalhando em um álbum novo e completo que não tem data de lançamento ainda, mas planejando para o final de 2011 ou início de 2012, portanto, fique atento.
