ION VEIN will be hitting the stage in whats shaping up to be their final Chicagoland appearance of 2012, as direct support for prog/power metallers, SYMPHONY X, at Mojoe's in Joliet, IL, on Thursday, September 13th. Also appearing are Dissona and Moments of Sanity.
Commented the band, "We're really excited to be sharing the stage with the amazing SYMPHONY X once again and to be playing songs off our latest release, IV V1.0, and also our upcoming release which we're hoping will be available in time for the show! This is also our first ALL AGES gig in a long time so we're hoping to see a lot of you younger fans that have been asking about an all ages show for a long time!"

ION VEIN has made their first DR (digital release), IV V1.0, available for FREE for a limited time as a token of their appreciation for the fans' continued patience and support. The band states, "We've been through quite a lot since the release of REIGNING MEMORIES in 2003, and the only thing that kept us going was the belief in the strength of the new material, so we hope you enjoy it... and remember to crank it loud!"
