The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is very excited to officially announce the addition of the Boston, Massachusetts Power Thrashers of Skull Hammer to our 6th annual Warriors of Metal Fest Open Air lineup for 2013. Skull Hammer was one of the featured bands at the very first Thursday night Pre-Fest Showcase on June 28th at The Shrunken Head Rock Club in Columbus, Ohio. The band members all attended our WOM Fest V Open Air as regular ticket buying fans and not even the tornado strength straight line winds that ripped through the festival grounds the next day could scatter them.
Lead guitarist and vocalist, Steve Ace McArdle states: "We are thrilled to be playing the main-stage at WOM Fest VI Open Air in 2013 with so many great bands. The pre-fest showcase this year was absolutely killer, just an incredible time sharing the stage with our friends from the Massachusetts Metal Milita and hammering Ohio's finest metallions! WOM Fest 2012 was one of the best experiences of the year. Thankfully we have a fest like this in the US!"
