Birmingham, England, Melodic Death Metal Band Aeurtum has the whole discography posted online for free listening via their bandcamp. Active since 2010, the Band has released "Within This Enervation" E.P. Demo in March 31st, 2011, "The Fall" full-length in July 27th, 2012 and "The Fall Special Edition" full-length July 28th, 2012, the whole discography was self/ released. The name Aeurtum (Ay-er-tum) comes from the latin Aeternum (forever ∞) and Autumn.
The lyrical themes are around of the mortality, misanthropy and Loss in a very effective, in particular at the merging the fast riffing and harmonic guitar lines. Aeurtum is influenced by the characteristics of NWOBHM and Death Metal, heavily distorted guitars, fast double-bass drum patterns and sometimes blast beats. "During time playing in a different band, the founding member and songwriter began writing new material and after garnering relative success with the other band, left due to musical and personal reasons, and began work full-time on Aeurtum as a solo project, laying the foundations for what is now simply dubbed as "The Fall"".
