Cor Scorpii is writing the sophomore album!

In July/August 2007 Cor Scorpii entered Børge Finstad's Top Room Studio, where the album entitled Monument, was recorded and mixed. The album was mastered in the renowned studio Tailor Maid, and released by Descent Productions in 2008. The album once again got great response from the metal press, but due to the label's financial difficulties, it barely reached the fans. The band decided to break the contract and soon after signed a deal with Norwegian label Dark Essence Records which was re-release "Monument" on March 1st 2010. The re-release will also included remastered versions of the Attergangar-demo.

At this moment the band is writing the sophomore album and made the following update on his official facebook page:
"Well, well, well!! How has your summer been?! Sunburned and broke, or don`t you remember?! ;)
Time for some update!!
We are as you all know writing on our second album this year, and we are as eager as you to get it out. But we are a bit delayed because of private reasons.
We are very sorry for this, but hoping that you have the patience to wait a bit longer.. there are some very nice tunes in the making,so stay tuned!! Have a great weekend :)"
