AEON: “Still They Pray” Performance Demonstration Posted Band To Take Over Summer Slaughter

Sweden's AEON have launched a brand new performance demonstration video for “Still They Pray” from their latest album, Aeons Black. Fans can watch Daniel Dlimi, Emil Wiksten, Zeb Nilsson, and Tony Östman perform their parts now at metalblade.com/aeon.

As previously announced, AEON will be touring the US for the first time this year as part of The Summer Slaughter Tour. Presented by Indie Merch Store, ESP and Guitar World, the seventh annual event is now officially slated to run from July 19th through August 20th and features The Dillinger Escape Plan, Animals As Leaders, Periphery, Norma Jean, Cattle Decapitation, The Ocean, Revocation, Rings of Saturn and Thy Art is Murder.

Today Metal Blade brings fans the latest installment of a series of in-studio video clips from Swedish death metal strategists, AEON. Filmed during the band’s Aeons Black recording session in Empire Studio in Östersund, Sweden, watch as guitarists Zeb Nilsson and Daniel Dlimi sever frets and talk gear at THIS LOCATION.

AEON Streams “The Glowing Hate”

Today MetalSucks offers up an exclusive premiere of “The Glowing Hate,” the latest single of iniquity from Swedish death metal unit, AEON. The track comes off the band’s forthcoming new full-length, Aeons Black, scheduled to drop next week.

Comments guitarist Daniel Dlimi of the tune: "My goal with ‘The Glowing Hate’ was to write a really diverse song containing all sorts of elements and influences. Personally, I think it turned out great and it's also the song that I am most satisfied with of the ones I wrote for the album. I also think [vocalist] Tommy [Dahlstöm ] managed to write really great lyrics and awesome vocal patterns for it, and as usual it's all about our everlasting hate against religion. The spoken parts at the end were something that Tommy and I came up with over a piss-warm beer in the studio after we were done with the main vocals of the song. It sounded cool so we decided to keep it."
