Chaos Records to Release TURBOCHARGED's Christ Zero September 2nd

Chaos Records is proud to announce the second offering from Swedish Deathpunk CommandosTURBOCHARGED on September 2nd! Titled Christ Zero, the MCD is 25-minutes of anti-Christian warfare propaganda, including five tracks of theme-based blasphemy. A limited edition (500 copies) four-panel digipak will also be available. Featuring members from of NEKROKÜLT, DOMINATION, GEHENNAH an DECAPITATE and former member of VOMITORY, TURBOCHARGED was formed back in March 2000 as a trio during a few drunken binges at the local hangout. The idea took shape in a bar but soon moved to a cellar nearby to complete the mayhem. Two months later the first demo was recorded but never released officially. As the years went by the band added members, replaced members and kicked out members and from the original trio the band had as much as five steady members at some points and eventually the line-up ended up being a trio again holding the strongest wills ever to be called TURBOCHARGED. 

In 2008 all plans on finding replacements for the lost members were abandoned and the recording of the first officially released demo, Branded Forever, was a fact. Not much happened in the camp for a while but the band for the first time had a focus and an edge they never had experienced before. In 2009 the second demo, Arrogantus Metallus, saw the light of day at basically the same time as TURBOCHARGED was asked to play at a German festival, Thunders over Miriquidi, in Elterlein near the Czech border. Things were starting to look up for the guys and as the year came to an end they had been approached by brand new Polish label Hellrocker Records about releasing the demo as a 12 inch vinyl but since TURBOCHARGED has their own studio the question was raised if it wasn't time to record a full-length album instead.

 Said and done, AntiXtian was written and recorded in the spring of 2010. It was scheduled to be released in August the same year but due to the mandatory delays and all it was finally released on Lemmy's birthday, December 24th, 2010. Chaos Records also approached the band a few months before the release and offered to seal the deal of a CD-version of the aforementioned album and after some talks back and forth between Chaos Records and TURBOCHARGEDjoined forces. That unholy alliance continues withChrist Zero!

BLOOD MORTIZED: Vinyl Edition Of "The Key to a Black Heart" Available For Pre-Order Through Chaos Records

Chaos Records has made the vinyl edition of The Key to a Black Heart, the new album from old School Swedish Death Crushers BLOOD MORTIZED available on the label's e-shop. This limited edition (only 500 copies being pressed) 180g vinyl comes in Standard Black, Blood Red or Splatter White/Blood Red and features a gatefold jacket with exclusive cover art by the amazing dutch artist Thomas Knyst, printed inner sleeve and exclusive A2 poster. Orders will begin shipping on August 13th.

The followup to the monstrous Bestial EP (Chaos Records) was once again recorded, mixed, mastered and produced by drummer Mattias Borgh at Underworld Recording. FDA Rekotz released the CD version on May 18th.

UNCONSECRATED's Awakening in the Cemetery Grave Arrives July 9th on Chaos Records/Dark Blasphemies


Chaos Records and Dark Blasphemies will co-release UNCONSECRATED's Awakening in the Cemetery Grave on July 9 with a vinyl LP version to follow later in the year. The CD can be pre-ordered at this location. Featuring all the material the Spanish old school death metallers have recorded to date, the compilation includes the Unconsecrated Cemetery (2006) and Dark Awakening (2007) demos, as well as 2010's Slave to the Grave EP, which was previously released as a 7" on Dark Descent Records. The material has been remastered by Skaldir at the Kalthallen Studios in Germany (2011) and cover art comes courtesy of Daniel Devilish (ENTRAILS, MALFEITOR, BLOOD MORTIZED).

Unconsecrated was formed in April 2006 only by Dave Devour and Robert J. (guitars) with the intention of playing old school death metal like was done in the early 90s. After less of 6 months of the creation of the band and Dave playing guitar, they both started decomposing songs for what it was their first demo entitled Unconsecrated Cemetery, six songs of old school Swedish Death Metal plus a cover from Unleashed´s Dead Forever. Dave was looking for singers and drummers till he meet with Kent, singer from the Norwegian Death Metal band Unspoken, plus with the help of Lorenzo from the Ered band of Barcelona on bass they recorded their first demo in October-November 2006 with a drum machine. After some months, Dave and Robert started to decompose six new songs for their second demo entitled Dark Awakening with a more obscure and heavy approach influenced by Swedish bands like Unleashed, Entombed, Dismember. The second demo was recorded in the months of April/May 2007 and it contains 6 songs.

In December 2007 because of his lack of time, Robert leaves the band and Dave asks his friend Overlord from the old school black metal band Warcult to join. After some days, Overlord accepted. Now with Overlord in the line-up the band improved in many ways. Songs became better structured, and the sound of the band became darker, without losing that old school sound that the band wanted to keep.

Dan´s Crypt Records signed the band to release both demos. In February 2008 these see the light on a CD called Unconsecrated Cemetery/Dark Awakening.   In April 2008 Dave and Overlord checked some sounds for what would be their next release, a shared EP for the American label Relapse Records. After sending the masters to Relapse, together with another 11 bands, the label decides not to edit it, with no further explanation.

When the band noticed that Relapse would not release that Death Metal Series, Matt, from American label Dark Descent Records, decided to sign up with Unconsecrated to release a 4-song EP, which was named Slave To The Grave. I was 3 new songs of intense and putrid old school death metal in the vein of Entombed, Dismember or Carnage, real influences in Unconsecrated.  This EP was released at Halloween of 2010. This edition was limited to 500 copies, 400 in black and 100 inked in green. The band sold 100 copies in just a week, and in very little time the EP was Sold Out at the label store.

Now, Unconsecrated presents on CD all the material the band has recorded: Slave To The Grave EP, the debut demo Unconsecrated Cemetery and Dark Awakening demo. All the music has been remastered in 2011 and sounds more powerful and raw than in the original recordings. The band is now in standby mode, but there are plans to record all their songs for a full length CD. Unconsecrated hopes that every authentic death metal fan will love this CD. Chaos Records / Dark Blasphemies to Release UNCONSECRATED's Awakening in the Cemetery Grave in June

Chaos Records and Dark Blasphemies will co-release UNCONSECRATED's Awakening in the Cemetery Grave in June with a vinyl LP version to follow later in the year. Chaos Records Signs The Suffering

Chaos Records has announced the signing of Mexico City's THE SUFFERING. Forming in 1996 for the express purpose of crossing Mexican ancient and Swedish old school Death Metal, THE SUFFERING released one well received self-titled demo in 1998, but are now prepared to unleashed Hell with their full-length debut via Chaos Records later this year.  Featuring ex and current members of CENOTAPH and DENIAL, THE SUFFERING's long await debut is guaranteed to set the world aflame. We'll keep you posted on all the evildoings. 
THE SUFFERING saw the light (or night?) in this earthly plane during the end of 1996 in Mexico City. The band was originally formed by Samuel Ocadiz (lead guitar, later in Cenotaph), Roberto Lizarraga (lead guitar, founder of the band Infinitum Obscure), David Magaña (vocals), Ricardo Gil (bass, later in Denial) and Antonio Leon (drums, also from The Chasm), who got together to create some pure obscure Melodic Death Metal, the way it used to be played: Aggressive and Dark.

Inspired by old traditions of Mexican and Swedish Death Metal, THE SUFFERING created a menacing style of music that needed to be made in Mexico, guided by the old flame of Death, Black and Heavy Metal music and idealism.

In November of 1997, THE SUFFERING played their debut show in Toluca, Mexico, as special guest support band for Mexican Death Metal legends CENOTAPH, and UNDER MOONLIGHT SADNESS.

Plans to record a debut demo had began to emerge and suddenly in December of 1997, Roberto Lizarraga was forced to leave the band and relocate to the northwest of Mexico (Tijuana) so THE SUFFERING continued its own darkened path.

The following year, after Lizarraga's departure, The Suffering self-titled demo was recorded in October of 1998, and one week after the recording sessions, Antonio Leon left the band and relocated to Chicago, Illinois, to reunite with the THE CHASM.

Shortly after, they were joined by ex-CENOTAPH drummer Oscar Clorio and ex-Under Moonlight Sadness guitar player Sergio Martinez. During this period, the debut demo was released by Vision D Records in Mexico City and received excellent praise and reviews.

In this time period between 1998 and 2000, THE SUFFERING played in several successful shows along with leading national acts such as DISGORGE and UNDER MOONLIGHT SADNESS among others In 2001, Clorio had the desire to bring back the defunct CENOTAPH and Samuel Ocadiz joined them as well, alas, THE SUFFERING fell into a deep slumber...

Now it is 2012, and hell's fire is raging ablaze, THE SUFFERING has been summoned from the depths once again and reborn from the purest fire and self will, to bring eternal damnation unto the non believers of inner darkness and perpetual pain.

Chaos Records to Release Funeral Whore's Step into Damnation on February 27th


Mexican metal powerhouse Chaos Records has set a date of February 27th for the worldwide release of FUNERAL WHORE's Step into Damnation. The highly anticipated debut from the Dutch bruisers is as real as old school death metal gets; as terrifyingly crushing as it is 100 percent uncompromising..

In late 2006, Roy (Guitar/vocals), Olle (Drums) and Kellie (Guitar) created Funeral Whore with the intention to make death metal, the traditional way. Old school death metal the way it supposed to be. Funeral Whore at that time was in search of a bass player. After a short time, Olle left the band and concentrated on his other successful street punk band, Discharger. Roy and Kellie moved on together and found a new drummer in early 2007. Shortly afterwards, Tim (Bass) joined the band and the formation was complete. But sadly, the drummer, Jonathan was unable to rehearsal constantly. This meant very slow progress in writing songs. In mid-2009, after recording the first demo, Jonathan was replaced by Sven. 


The first three gigs were played with this second drummer but not with the satisfying result. The band recorded a mini-CD entitled Morbid Intension, which was self-released in October 2009. But Sven also proved to be incapable in providing the real old school death metal sound. The search for a real old school death metal drummer continued and Sven was replaced by Dennys. 

This third drummer would again, also be a disappointment and after one show, held in Amsterdam in May 2010 it was the end of the line for Dennys. Funeral Whore found itself again without a drummer, but nevertheless recorded a three-track promo called For all Eternity, which was self-released in the summer of 2010. Olle had played in Discharger for nearly eight years, but never had strong connections with the punk scene, preferring death metal the entire time. In the summer of 2010 Olle left Discharger and in a few weeks he re-joined Funeral Whore, founding himself in the exact band he wanted to be. The improvement of the band throughout the years stunned Olle and with his return, the band made a rapid progress. Several, very successful gigs were played and new songs arrived for the playlist, more aggressive and old school than ever before.

The Return of Mexico's Dies Irae

   
Chaos Records is proud to announce the return of Mexican dark melodic metallers DIES IRAE. New album Secret Veils of Passion will be released on January 9, 2012 and features a new musical approach from the band. Dies Irae was formed by guitarist/vocalist Jm Dah in 1994 in the middle region of Mexico.
In the beginning the band was working on a kind of sad doom metal that was reflected on their first work called Ab Imo Pectore, released by Reborn Recs in 1996. After that, the band was signed by Oz Productions. Their first album was called Etherial, produced in 1998 bringing a stronger sound mixed with some death metal jazz fusion; the same year the band recorded a live show that was used for the home video (VHS) OZ LIVE.

A split CD was released in 1999 with the legendary band Agony Lords who was also a part of the Oz Productions roster. The split contained the Agony Lords EP Unions along with a re-release of the Ab Imo Pectore demo.

In 2001 the band recorded their last album Naive,  finishing their first era. The album was released in 2002, offering a fresh technical death doom metal sound. After that the band the band split and JM Dah founded a band called The Ill Over Death with guitarist Fernz.    
In January 2009 Jm Dah and Fernz decided to resurrect Dies Irae with a new musical approach. Daniel HG came into the fold to supply visual concepts and backing vocals. Two years later, the band begin to record the new album Secret Veils of Passion, and signed with Chaos Records.
