MOTHERSHIP To Tour With SCORPION CHILD

Every generation seems to spawn a group of like-minded bands that all seem to grow together and can't be mentioned without thinking of one or two of the others. For instance, it's hard to thinking of Iron Maiden without Judas Priest and Dio; it's hard to thinking of Alice In Chains without thinking of Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Nirvana; it's hard to thinking about Metallica without thinking of Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. Will same be said about Mothership, Scorpion Child and Gypsyhawk? Only time will tell, but this is how legends are born!

The Dallas-based badasses in Mothership are about to hit the road with a new wave of retro minded rockers - Scorpion Child and Gypsyhawk - this Fall, and will weave their way across the U.S., also making their very first visit to Canada! It was recently announced that the trio were added as the support slot for the Scorpion Child and Kadavar tour; which kicks off in Denver, CO with the Snowboard on the Block Festival on September 14th. Also added to the tour package is Wilson and Metal Blade recording artists, Gypsyhawk, with whom Mothership toured with earlier this Spring. This will mark the third tour that Mothership will embark on in 2013, however, this will be the first time that the boozing bruisers have ventured away from the western half on the U.S.

When asked about their thoughts on this latest road trip, Kyle Juett (vocalist/bassist) had this to say, "We could not be more stoked that our Scorpion Child brothers asked us to join them on what will be one of the top, if not, the best touring Rock & Roll shows taking place this Fall. Personally, I'm looking forward to watching all the bands jam and to welcome aboard any and all new brothers and sisters every night."

Mothership is opening every night, so join the band early and stay late through the night as each band rocks you to the core!

"“Mothership” is an eight-track album that does justice to bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, ZZ Top, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, in fact not only does justice but also gives to the listener a new experience with a futuristic sound brought in the ship by the outer space to delight your deepest desires of binding new with old. This massive work exteriorizes catchy hard riffing, insane solos of the NWOBHM-era, powerful drumming and imposing lyrics that are waiting for you to join the flight! You can´t miss it!"

MOTHERSHIP… Let There Be Rock !

Let there be sound, let there be light, let there be drums, let there be guitar… let there be rock!

Kells Juett- Guitars/Vox
 Kyle Juett- Bass/Vox
Judge Smith- Drums
Awww… the nostalgia of a great time when music gradually plunged into people’s brain giving a new meaning to what life is, giving a new ambient to a prosperous era, creating a history, a new beginning to an evolution of entities that slowly rooted in our feet and marked us as a generation, a crowd connected by the extreme joy of listening to powerful music… rock!

Just give me a beer, light me a cig and start the engines of this ship cause I feel in the top of the world right now! Rock lives and lives hard with the Texas based extreme trio Mothership combining ancient souls of 70´s heavy rock with fiery, clever, fresh and tasteful solos that will rip your head off.

“Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.” There are bands that are like family for sharing a way of life, for sharing one path in common, the same interests and then there are bands that are family for sharing the same blood, the same genes, the same vocation! This is the history of a family united by blood and united by the desire of keeping the tradition of classic rock active with a modern flavor in our modern days. God (of rock) bless you!

The musical rampage started before 2010 with Juett brothers (Kyle on bass and his younger brother Kelley on guitar) and their father John to help get the ´ship off the ground. Raised in a home full of 70´s-era record collection, the perfect environment to grow the palate for music, the brothers began to compose songs immersed in the frenetic and raw vibe of good and timeless old school rock n´roll. With amazing live shows and the band showing crazy performances with was easy to gain notoriety. Knowing that the presence of the family patriarch was temporary, John himself helped his boys find his replacement, and in late 2011, Judge Smith joined the crew to hammer away on the skins. In early 2012, Mothership entered Crystal Clear Studios with Wo Fat mastermind Kent Stump manning the boards and by mid-year, the band self-released their debut album. The debut release drew attention to California-based Heavy Rock label, Ripple Music and after a successful year of traveling throughout Texas, Mothership officially dubbed Ripple Music as its Home Port and began plotting a course for their first U.S Tour early this year.

2013 starts really well to the band with Mothership and Ripple Music joining forces to re-release in 12, February the immense self-titled album on CD (includes lyrics) and LP (packages to include an 11” x 17” poster and download cards).

One melee with the words, ideas and its paradoxes... albuns that are news, the reviews at "HeavyHardMetalmania.net", always with its watermark,  Pedro Ribeiro, with love for beer... sorry, music from an early age, he studied piano and singing from 7 to 14 years,  then, devoted himself to the study of the guitar for 5 years. "The wisdom is found in the extremes, all extreme Metal here!"

Rock n' Roll history is rife with brothers working together to create their artistic vision. But rarely do we hear about a full-fledged family unit embarking down the treacherous path of a musical career. In the case of Texas based Mothership, the Brother Juett (Kyle on bass, younger brother Kelley on guitar) enlisted the aid of their father, John Juett, to help get the 'ship off the ground. Raised on a healthy dose of their father's 70's-era record collection, the brothers began crafting songs fueled on the raucous and raw good time vibe when music seemed to know no bounds. Lifting off the pad for the first time in 2010, the band began to gain momentum and notoriety with their unabashed live shows. Knowing that the service of the family patriarch was temporary, Father Juett actively helped his boys find his replacement, and in late 2011, enter the mighty Judge Smith to hammer away on the skins. In early 2012, Mothership entered Crystal Clear Studios with Wo Fat mastermind Kent Stump manning the boards and by mid-year, the band self-released their debut album. It was the combination of the 70's-era heavy rock fuzz and fury mixed with the blistering guitar solos of the NWOBHM-era that drew the bands attention to California-based Heavy Rock label, Ripple Music. In the waning months of 2012, after a successful year of traveling regionally throughout Texas and opening for national acts such as Prong, Red Fang, Gypsyhawk, Earthen Grave, and Lo-Pan, Mothership officially dubbed Ripple Music as its Home Port and began plotting a course for their first U.S. Tour in early 2013.
