NACHTMYSTIUM posts new track, "I Wait In Hell"; Pre-order for 'Silencing Machine' on iTunes

Chicago's NACHTMYSTIUM horde have posted a new track through youtube "I Wait In Hell". The song comes of the upcoming release "Silencing Machine",  their 6th full length album and next celebrated chapter in the band's storied career.  "Silencing Machine" release date will be on July 30th in Europe and July 31st in North America via Century Media.

Recorded at Engine Studios with the band's own synths/electronics specialist Sanford Parker (YOB, PELICAN) handling producer duties, "Silencing Machine" is, as front-man/lead guitarist Blake Judd puts it, "A fuckin' black metal record". Nachtmystium Posted New Song "As Made"

Nachtmystium will release a new 7″ called "As Made" later this month, and they have posted the title track "As Made" for streaming. As Made comes out May 15 via Century. The song can be heard below.

In addition to “As Made”, the 7″ will include a Nachtmystium’s cover of a Joy Division anthem, called “The Eternal”, which features vocals by Chris Connelly (Revolting Cocks, Ministry).

NACHTMYSTIUM TO RELEASE LIMITED EDITION 7" SINGLE

Chicago's NACHTMYSTIUM has just finished mixing their third Century Media release, Silencing Machine , at Engine Studios with Sanford Parker [Yob, Pelican]. Prior to this recording session, the band and Sanford worked on a few other tracks, two of which will be released as a limited edition single and 7" on May 15. The single will contain the new track, "As Made", and a unique cover version of Joy Division's "The Eternal", which features vocals by Chris Connelly (Revolting Cocks, Ministry). Both tracks will not be included on Silencing Machine and will only be available as part of this single. Preorders here.

NACHTMYSTIUM Induct Bassist, Completing Band Lineup

Chicago black metal assassins NACHTMYSTIUM officially announce their recently recruited full-time bassist, as they welcome Reid Raley of Rwake / Deadbird into the ranks of the band.

Besides founding guitarist/vocalist Blake Judd, NACHTMYSTIUM have forced their way from the depths of the American black metal scene to international popularity over the past decade incorporating temporary lineups from release to release, and presenting a new set of musicians for nearly every tour the band has embarked on. Over recent months, Judd has recruited several other full-time members including lead guitarist Andrew Markuszewski (Avichi, Lord Mantis), drummer Charlie Fell (Lord Mantis, Avichi), and keyboard/synth engineer Sanford Parker (Minsk, Circle Of Animals), now solidifying the crew with the addition of Reid Raley on bass, making this the first "official lineup" for the band, ever.

Stated Judd and NACHTMYSTIUM on Raley joining the band: "Nachtmystium, for the first time in the band's history as a full-time touring band, has a solid live lineup that matches the studio lineup. We intend to move forward and keep this group together indefinitely. It's taken 10 years to put together the perfect band, and now we've got it. So watch for us on the road starting in June and throughout the rest of the year!  We anticipate that Reid's presence will not only bring a thunderous low-end onslaught on the live stage, but also will hopefully bring in some new elements into the writing of future Nachtmystium recordings."

NACHTMYSTIUM Confirm Live Invasions, Von Collaborations, Lineup & Recording Info

Bastard sons of black metal, NACHTMYSTIUM, have announced a string of random live attacks for the coming months, while they also devise the execution of their sixth full-length release.

The latest plague of concerts begins with a hometown headlining gig, with support from Lord Mantis (containing two members of NACHTMYSTIUM), this Friday, May 6th in Chicago. Next up,NACHTMYSTIUM will be co-headlining 2011's installment of the annual Alehorn of Power Festival in Chicago June 11th, where they'll perform directly before headlining stoner gods Orange Goblin, and will also be joined by Bible of the Devil, Zuul, Solace and Buried At Sea. July will seeNACHTMYSTIUM terrorizing the Central Illinois Metalfest, where they're confirmed as direct support for Macabre. In August, they've been invited to perform at the Party.San Open Air Festival in Schlotheim, Germany, as part of an incredible fest roster including Morbid Angel, At The Gates, Absu, Tryptikon, Enslaved, Negura Bunget and more. Since returning from their extensive North American tour as direct support for Cradle of Filth in March, NACHTMYSTIUM have been devising their next studio effort. The current band lineup consist of a majority of the recent touring lineup, including Andrew Markuszewski (Avichi, Lord Mantis), Charlie Fell (Lord Mantis, Avichi), and Sanford Parker (Minsk, Circle Of Animals, etc.), and founding guitarist/vocalist, Blake Judd. As of now, little more about the album is being released, but according to Judd this week: "The new record will have a very strong industrial influence in the vein of later-era Ministry, Revolting Cocks and Nine Inch Nails, but also a strong, depressive, old-school black metal influence." More details, including a full-time bassist and more on the upcoming album, will be announced shortly.

In the meantime, Judd and NACHTMYSTIUM have confirmed several collaborations with infamous USBM horde Von! Two separate projects are currently underway which involve members of both bands. First up, Judd has been confirmed as one of a dozen notable artists set to collaborate with Von bassist Venien, on a project entitled Von Venien. The unit will release a 12" single entitled "Empire" via Von's own label Von Music Group. Following that, VMG will also unleash a split between Von and NACHTMYSTIUM via 12" MLP and CD, which will include both a new track as well as some Von homage from NACHTMYSTIUM. Full details on releases will be unveiled shortly.

NACHTMYSTIUM: North American Tour With Cradle Of Filth Begins In Mere Days

The anticipated Creatures From The Black Abyss Tour -- featuring Chicago's black meddlers NACHTMYSTIUM as direct support for Cradle of Filth -- embarks this Tuesday, February 1st! The massive expedition will invade 30 North American cities, engulfing the continent in a clockwise vortex over the next six-and-a-half weeks. As NACHTMYSTIUM's first major tour of 2011, and first tour since their massive North American headlining tour with Zoroaster, The Atlas Moth and Dark Castle last fall, these dates will showcase the unit unveiling much of the material on last year's incredible Addicts: Black Meddle Part II album which the band have not previously performed live. NACHTMYSTIUM: Interviews Available As Headlining Tour Approaches

NACHTMYSTIUM are set to headline one of the most brutal underground tours of the year this autumn. The most dangerous tour of the season has begun... Chicagoan psychedelic stormtroopers NACHTMYSTIUM are on the road now, playing several shows on their way to rendezvous with NOLA sludge kingpins Eyehategod in Florida tomorrow for a three-week binge across the US!
