We have been holding this statement for a few months now, and it is finally time to announce: Cruz del Sur Music recording artists WHILE HEAVEN WEPT will no longer be part of the label's roster. The label are thrilled, but also sad, to state that WHILE HEAVEN WEPT have signed a new record deal with Nuclear Blast Records.

The following are the press releases from the three parties involved. It is an important moment for Cruz Del Sur, passing the torch on to Nuclear Blast Records... may it keep on burning high!

WHILE HEAVEN WEPT Release Clips From Upcoming Live Album

Virginia's epic doom unit WHILE HEAVEN WEPT will be releasing their first live album via Italy's diverse Cruz Del Sur Music, on December 7, 2010.

The material on the album was pulled from a 24-track audio capture of WHILE HEAVEN WEPT's performance at the Hammer Of Doom Festival in Würzburg, Germany on February 6th, 2010. The master was synchronized to the pro-shot multi-camera footage, resulting in the band's very first DVD. The end product, Triumph:Tragedy:Transcendence - Live At The Hammer Of Doom Festival, will be released as a CD/DVD set, showcasing both high quality audio and video evidence of the monumental performance.

Additionally, a 2xLP version of T:T:T is available now, released as a joint collaboration between Cruz Del Sur Music, Iron Kodex, and High Roller Records. WHILE HEAVEN WEPT Release Details For Upcoming Live Album

Virginia's epic doom metal unit WHILE HEAVEN WEPT have this week put the finishing touches on their massive upcoming live album Triumph:Tragedy:Transcendence - Live At The Hammer Of Doom Festival. On the live release coming together, frontman Tom Phillips states: "The performance features an equal balance of material from all of our albums, and features a good amount of improvisation ala Rainbow circa 1976, making this a very special release indeed."

With live plans confirmed for Up The Hammers, Hammer Of Doom and ProgPower USA festivals already planned for 2011, WHILE HEAVEN WEPT will be planning more live shows in the coming months, including an appearance in Raleigh, North Carolina this Saturday, September 25th.

WHILE HEAVEN WEPT To Play Hammer Of Doom III

WHILE HEAVEN WEPT have confirmed their presence to the third edition of the Hammer Of Doom festival taking place in Würzburg, Germany on the 6th of February, 2010.

With the legendary Saint Vitus headlining, the festival promises to be one of the most remarkable live events of the beginning of the new year featuring other great Doom acts such as Griftegard (Sweden), Atlantean Kodex (Germany), and The Wizar'd (Austria) plus others that will be announced shortly.
