BELPHEGOR - AUSTRIAN METALLERS RELEASE NEW VIDEO FOR 'DER GEISTERTREIBER'
Europe’s kings of non-repentant supreme death black metal art,BELPHEGOR, have uploaded the video clip for the track "Der Geistertreiber" on MySpace and YouTube.
The song was taken from the bands upcoming album Walpurgis Rites – Hexenwahn to be released via Nuclear Blast Records on October 9, 2009 (Europe) and October 20, 2009 (North America).
The video was shot in Abtenau, Austria with director Walter Fanninger.
Lead growler and shredder Helmuth stated:
"The song is about the celebration on the 30th of April, better known as the Walpurgis Nacht, the occult celebrations on the broken mountain. It's the first time that we hired a professional camera team for a BELPHEGOR video, so the result is beyond amazing. We rented a cottage three days high in the mountains in middle of nowhere in the woods. There was nothing around. Just a lot of excess, alcohol, substances etc. Was a great intense time!"
