SOiL Reunited With Original Singer Ryan McCombs For UK Tour

CHICAGO, IL – July 5, 2011 – SOiL along with co-headliners Puddle Of Mudd will embark on a full UK beginning this October 14th in London for twelve shows.

SOiL returns to the UK with their original lead singer and founding member Ryan McCombs (on loan from the band Drowning Pool) and fellow founding members Tim King (Bass) and Adam Zadel (Lead Guitar). For Puddle Of Mudd, these upcoming shows will be the first time the band has toured the UK since 2002.

"The UK has always been a true home for SOiL" states bassist Tim King. "To also have Ryan (McCombs) singing and to be sharing the stage with Puddle of Mudd will be something special for both us and the fans.

After the fantastic reception we got at Download this year, we’re excited to be coming back for our first proper UK run in years,” commented Puddle Of Mudd lead guitarist Paul Phillips.  “We played a bunch of shows back in the day with SOiL so it’s gonna be nice to be on the road with them for this run.”

SOiL has confirmed a set list comprised of select cuts from the Scars and Re.de.fine albums, along with a surprise song from the debut Throttle Junkies release.  The band’s breakthrough album Scars (featuring the hits “Halo” and “Unreal”) was released Sept 11, 2001, making 2011 the 10th anniversary of the release.

Puddle Of Mudd’s upcoming fifth studio album - re:(disc)overed  - finds the band tackling classic rock songs as only they know how.   The new album includes such classics as AC/DC’’s “TNT,” Steve Miller’s “The Joker,” Elton John’s “Rocket Man,” the Stevie Nicks/Tom Petty duet “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” (which Puddle Of Mudd recorded with BC Jean), Neil Young’s “Old Man,” and the first single, The Rolling Stones classic “Gimme Shelter.”  A UK release date will be announced shortly for this album.

Supporting the tour as well will be UK rockers Dear Superstar along with G.U. Medicine.  Full dates below:
