Stavanger’s gloomy rock’n’rollers "Beyond The Morninglight" have posted a new song "In My Mind" online taken from self titled 2009 album released via "Misantrof ANTIRecords" of Vrangsinn, as always with free and legal download. The song can be heard below.
In related news, "Runar Funeralheart" and "Andy Amin" to commemorate their fifth year together, has also created its first video, which was filmed at dawn in the evocative surroundings of Norway’s rural Rogaland. Both the video, in MP4 format, and the MP3 of “Open Your Eyes” can be seen/downloaded for free from BTM.music.Misantrof.net. The video can also be seen below.
"Open Your Eyes" will be part from forthcoming sophomore album “Liberation” that is being recorded and mastered by Daniel Vrangsinn, which is scheduled for release in 2012.
Beyond the Morninglight came to life in the fall of 2006. Founded by Runar Funeralheart and Andy Amin, two old friends sharing a passion for rock'n'roll.
After some months of rehearsing we came over an organ we bought from a old drunken man. It sounded very good and was a revelation for us. Making songs went well and soon we started to record the music for our first album with Vrangsinn in 2007. Beyond the Morninglight was signed to Misantrof ANTIRecords in October 2009. Working on our second album called "Liberation" and it will be amazing!
BEYOND THE MORNINGLIGHT’S sound has been celebrated for its progressive leanings and bold evolution. With Experimental & psychedelic 70's influences they give their music a uniquely dark, atmospheric, introverted approach.
