CIRCLE II CIRCLE: New Track Stream “Killing Death”

Brave Words & Blood Knuckles today brings fans a preview of “Killing Death” from American metal ministers CIRCLE II CIRCLE. The track stream comes in anticipation of the band’s forthcoming Seasons Will Fall full-length, set for North American release via Armoury Records on January 29, 2013 (next Tuesday!)
Led by former Savatage vocaist Zak Stevens, the 12-track Seasons Will Fall promises to be the band’s strongest album to date both musically and sonically. Blending Stevens’ history and unique “Savatage style” with the fresh sounds he’s meticulously developed with CIICSeasons Will Fall is a commanding fusion of metal and hard rock, powered by his passionate melodic rock vocals. Colossal Pop calls Stevens, “one of the best vocalists in the rock world,” while Hardrock Haven opines: “This is a must-have album your music collection, especially if you are a CIRCLE II CIRCLE or Savatage fan or checking out the progressive metal scene for the first time.” The Age Of Metal agrees: “CIRCLE II CIRCLE have indeed exceeded their potential, and challenged their capabilities to the most on this record. A great hard rock album full of heavy riffs, high note vocals, and a pure rocking attitude all around it. One of the greatest albums to begin this 2013, no doubt.”
Details Stevens of the theme behind the track “Killing Death” “The lyrics are basically about taking control of something that is detrimental or that may be shortening your life. It’s about ridding yourself of the things that you know are making your days numbered before they wind up actually killing you.”

Formed in 2001, CIRCLE II CIRCLE has released five albums to date consistently progressing into something more powerful with each offering without sacrificing the signature sound fans around the globe have grown to adore. The turning point for CIIC came in 2012 with their monumental performance of The Wake of Magellan in its entirety at Germany’s legendary Wacken Open Air Festival. What followed was a sold-out European club tour with a full European jaunt set to follow later this year.
