BLACK METALLERS BLODARV STREAM VIDEO OF BORNHOLM SHOW

Black Metallers BLODARV, who recently made an appearance on the Danish island of Bornholm, which also happens to be the home of founder and frontman Hugin and band members Pestilens and Satinae Ma, have uploaded a fan-filmed video featuring six songs  from show, which took place in June of this year.  Titled “The Island Ceremony”, the video can be seen via the BLODARV’s YouTube channel.

Having founded the band some 14 years ago and with four full-length albums under his belt, Hugin draws his inspiration for BLODARV’s sound and lyrics from the dramatic and eerie landscapes of his island home, from whence he also mines the rich seam of local myths and legends, weaving them into a tapestry of powerful demons, haunted souls, tragic destinies and chilling dreams.  BLODARV’s lineup today, which can be seen on the video, includes HUGIN on vocals (+ studio bass, guitars and effects), SATINAE MA on female vocals, PESTILENS on lead guitar and FJORGYNN on drums, with HUUL as live session bassist.  More information about BLODARV can be found on the band’s Facebook page.
