The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is excited to announce that after years of loyal support and attendance of our summer festival, the young Cincinnati, Ohio Thrash Metal band SPLIT THE ABYSS will be one of the featured bands during the Thursday, June 26th Pre-Fest Showcase of this year's Warriors Of Metal Fest VII at O'Sheckys LIVE in Columbus, Ohio. The entry fee for the Pre-Fest Showcase is only $10 at the door and music starts at 6:00 pm.
Band drummer John Wood "Woody" Corsini Jr. states: "We are honored to be a part of 2014's Warriors of Metal Fest VII. We've been in attendance at previous festivals and we've always had a great time at this event. Its the best metal festival Ohio has to offer and one of the recent highlights for us included seeing two legendary bands in Helstar and Manilla Road at the 2012 edition of this show because for both of them it was the first time they had played in Ohio since the early to mid 1980s! And now to go from being patrons to performers shows what a young band can accomplish if it is supportive of its local and regional shows. We'll now be sharing the stage with so many bands from around the country and this will finally put us on a national scale. Be forewarned, we intend to be the heaviest band at Warriors of Metal Fest 2014."
