"March of the Cadavers" Tour With GRAVEHILL And DECEASED Starts Tomorrow

California death horde GRAVEHILL will hit the road with death/thrash legends DECEASED tomorrow (Saturday, March 9th) on the "March of the Cadavers 2013 Tour."

California death horde GRAVEHILL have been announced as direct support for DECEASED for the "March of the Cadavers 2013 Tour."  

The tour will mark GRAVEHILL's first live outing of 2013. Before hitting the road, the band will be busy writing and recording the follow-up to 2011's When All Roads Lead to Hell. GRAVEHILL Issues Statment Regarding Goregowler's Ball Cancellation

California death horde GRAVEHILL has issued the following statement regarding the cancellation of their planned performance at this year's Goregrowler's Ball:

"We were saddened and pissed off, to say the least, to hear from Goregrowlers Entertainment about their decision to not bring us out for the Fest in San Antonio on the days of November 18th-20th. It is unfortunate and we just wanted to let all of our friends and fans down there that we had NO control over this situation and are disappointed beyond belief. I will not get into every aspect of what went down and what was said and agreed upon. I also won't sit here and bash anyone at the Goregrowlers camp and get into any of that type of crap. What I will do is be honest and give you a "long story short". Gravehill was one of the first bands asked to be a part of this years fest. I was also instrumental in helping them book a few of the bands that are playing. I know that Gravehill is not fucking Metallica, so we didn't expect some sort of "red carpet treatment". It was obvious that once some of the bigger bands jumped on board and the larger sponsors started getting involved, we felt that we were on the outside looking in. This would have been fine if we had to bring ourselves out and cover all of the costs. We understand how "politics" work in this scene. There are some bands playing now that A LOT of people want to see. But once we were FINALLY notified about us not being a part of the fest, we had already booked the Impiety west coast shows and started getting money together to fund that. Being that we play the music that we do, obviously we aren't made of money. There was just NO WAY that we could grab cheap flights and get sleeping arrangements in a manner that would make sense. The reasons and excuses as to why the promoter decided this, well they have press releases being sent out about a lot of those things. Regardless, this situation SUCKS and we are sorry to the Horde of maniacs down in San Antonio that we can't make it out for this one! We have been some killer friends down there, and we were looking VERY forward to killing and hanging out with all of you once again. We ASSURE you that we will be returning to Texas in 2012. We will keep everyone posted about this as soon as we can start generating interest and get the talks finalized. But as far as the fest goes, I will also not tell anyone "DON'T SUPPORT THAT SHIT!" because I have some killer friends still playing it and our other friends in the area deserve a good weekend of metal madness. Plus this was a business decision that just did not work out in OUR favor. Go support your scene everyone! And have a fucking blast at this Goregrowlers Ball. Hails to you and I hope to see you soon you crazy Texas motherfuckers!"

GRAVEHILL To Play Wolves of the Apocalypse Festival This Weekend

Having conquered Central Illinois Metalfest and massacred Maryland Deathfest, the maniacal bastards known as GRAVEHILL now have their sights set on the unassuming locale of Cheyenne, Wyoming to headline the Wolves of the Apocalypse Festival. The show will take place on Saturday August 20th at The Bananza (600 E. Carlson, Cheyenne, WY) with the doors opening at 2:00 and bands starting at 2:30.   

  

GRAVEHILL vocalist Mike Abominator had this to say about the festival, "Cheyenne will get the live Decibel Ritual treatment this Saturday. We have been sharpening our weapons of death metal terror and this Horde Of Death will NOT disappoint! Some might scoff at the fact that we are going to Wyoming to play a show. FOOLS! These maniacs had the balls to get us out there and they asked for Gravehill! We aim to make those maniacs happier than pigs in shit when we come out to this section of the "badlands" of America. NEVER underestimate TRUE metal fans ANYWHERE! We plan on nothing else other than a total fucking massacre and it will be an honor to slay at this festival!"

  

When GRAVEHILL rolls into Cheyenne this weekend, they will be bringing with them a secret weapon in the form of FATALIST guitarist Neil Burkdoll, who will be filling in for Matt "Hellfiend" Harvey. Abominator again commented,  "Our Brother Matt "Hellfiend" Harvey will be busy with duties from his whore of a gore metal wife Exhumed, so we had to find a crazy fucker to fill his smelly shoes. Enter Neil "N. Bloodlust" Burkdoll, who you might know from his other band Fatalist. Neil was an obvious choice to join us on this trip for the festival and also joining us for future endeavors that always include blood, piss and beer! He has been a longtime friend and is a ripper of a guitar player, so we welcome him with leather/spiked arms covered in blood and dark hearts of damnation!"

GRAVEHILL To Bring Carnage To Central Illinois Metalfest

Having recently laid waste to the city of Baltimore at this year's Maryland Death Fest, California-based death horde GRAVEHILL have now set their sights directly on Champaign/Urbana, IL when they bring their relentless death metal assault to the Central Illinois Metalfest. Known for their blood-filled visuals and scorching live performance, GRAVEHILL threatens to be the highlight of the fest when they take the stage on Saturday, July 23rd. Vocalist Mike Abominator comments,  "Illinois has become ONE of our 2nd homes, hahaha. The metal heads are sick as fuck over there and we give them bloody and infernal hails. We have been bugging the shit out of Matt and the CIM people for a few years now, to play this fest and they FINALLY gave in, hahaha. It is going to be killer to share the Canopy Club stage with the likes of CARDIAC ARREST, NUNSLAUGHTER, EXHUMED, ACHERON, INSANITY, HOD, DROGHEDA, MAAX, MORGUE SUPPLIER and the others that are set to devastate the place. This weekend will serve as a reunion of sorts for GRAVEHILL as they will meet up with bandmates Matt "Hellfiend" Harvey and Bodybag Bob, who are both currently out on the road with EXHUMED. Regarding Bodybag Bob's involvement with EXHUMED, Abominator had this to say,  "Since Matt helped us in a pinch last year by joining the band, we have returned the favor by sending him our axe master Robert Michael Babcock "aka Bodybag Bob" to play the bass/gutteral vox in Exhumed on the latest U.S. Tour they are doing. Rob is just the latest in the long and strange line of California Mercenaries that have joined Matt on his quest for Gore Fucking Metal domination. We are proud of Rob joining our brothers on this trip and we wish them well on the trip of death through the U.S. Wastelands of Terror. I just saw the tour kick off show in San Diego this last Sunday night..... Prepare to meet your fucking maker motherfuckers!"
