HAVOK: Denver Thrashers Return With Their Second Studio Offering

Cover Art + Track Listing Revealed

On their 2009 Candlelight debut, Burn, Denver-based HAVOK quickly proved to metallers of all walks that they were far more than your average fly-by-night thrash act. Even Fear Factory's Gene Hoglan took note of the young band saying, "HAVOK lays it down old-school heavy like a sharp stick in the eye."

Time Is Up, the band's follow-up to Burn, will be released via Candlelight Records on March 29, 2011. Featuring ten tracks mixed by the legendary James Murphy, the record immediately showcases the band's collective penchant for writing mammoth thrash anthems and the flawless musicianship that's come from the last year's worth of tireless live performances including national tours with Primal Fear, Hatchet, Hammerfall and Wretched, as well as regional dates with Destruction, Cephalic Carnage, Exodus, Anthrax and others. Blistering guitar and drum work once again highlight the record, particularly on standout tunes like “Prepare for Attack,” “Fatal Intervention,” “Covering Fire,” and “Scumbag In Disguise.” Bringing it all together is striking cover art by illustrator Halsey Swain.
