The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is very excited to announce that the Burlington, Vermont Heavy Metal band AMADIS have confirmed their participation in the Warriors Of Metal Fest VI Open Air to take place on June 28th and 29th, 2013 at the Frontier Ranch in Pataskala, Ohio.
Band leader and guitarist J.J. Harris states: "We had such a great time at WOM Fest last year that we can’t wait to do it again! We’ll be packing up the sharks and heading back to Ohio for yet another no holds barred shredfest with some of our favorite bands and friends, and I’m sure many new ones along the way. We’ve got a lot of work ahead of us but we’ll be shooting for a full length album by then and we’re sure to have some other surprises in store. In 2012 we showed mother nature that it takes more than a silly little tornado to stop Heavy Metal. In 2013 we’re REALLY going to show her who’s boss. We only know one way to do this thing: 10,000 watt turbo-maximum laserdrive. Time to leather up and kick some ass!"
Amadis and 3 other bands (Brazen Angel, Power Theory & Twisted Tower Dire who was present but did not get to play due to a storm stopage) are the only artists returning to Ohio who played the main stage during the festival's 5th year anniversary show in 2012.
Bands confirmed for Warriors Of Metal Fest VI Open Air so far include: Flotsam and Jetsam, Attacker, Twisted Tower Dire, October 31, Dawn Of Valor, Seax, Skull Hammer, Brazen Angel, Power Theory, Sonic Pulse, and Amadis from USA plus Axenstar from Sweden, Alas Negras & Dantesco from Puerto Rico, Voltax from Mexico, and Dragonrider from Jordan.
More confirmations shall be forthcoming. Please stay up-to-date by checking the festival's Facebook page.

In the year MMVI, Franky Vitriol and J.J. Harris formed a bond over a Gibson Flying V and a pair of leather pants. Soon after, Harris recruited longtime allies Gustavus Adolphus and Johan Sebastian Rock, the rhythm section known as the gods of thunder, and Vitriol called upon former mate Syd Distic to lead the charge.
