HeavyHardMetalmania: Sonic Pulse: lots of beer with "Lager than Life"

They love humor, they would drown in a pool of beer during a metal concert, they are Sonic Pulse the fun, booze and fantasy themed metal band. They are professionals in the ancient art of partying but instead of the regular punk, hardcore we are used to listen when it comes to party they use their power/thrash metal skills to break everything up till the very last minute of the show. A furious, catchy, powerful injection of thrash, punk flavored record with some old taste of the 80´s metal riffs we are used to.

Although they do not sound completely new and fresh they bring to us the old sound mixed with brutal modernized melodic riffs and incredibly fast burning shreds with lots of fun lyrics full of humor and beer related songs that give them a lot of character and make “Lager Than Life” very entertaining and easy to appreciate. Despite their funny themes, don’t take it as a joke, Sonic Pulse are very serious with their music as you can hear they aren´t loafing around, the vocalist Dan has a good voice that rests nicely in the style, Mick and David are famished with hungry for speed and exhibit an out of the ordinary skill in the art of shred, Joe Bollettiero is a good drummer with a excellent technique and the drums create a good background link between all the instruments, the bass played by Lauren is very clear we can hear its presence in all the songs and its very strong with really good lines.

In the final we have a perfect mix of metal, comedy and lots of beer, “Lager Than Life” is a really great work, and will give you lots of laugh and headbang at the same time. Sonic Pulse are the perfect band to enjoy music for the only purpose of enjoying the fucking loud, heavy fast rhythm and to drink some beers while doing it.
