Between The Buried And Me releases awesome new video “Astral Body”

Between The Buried And Me  unleashed the first official video from the North Carolina band’s epic new album, The Parallax II: Future Sequence released Oct. 9, Metal Blade Records, for “Astral Body” premiering yesterday via Alternative Press’. 

The visually stunning four-minute clip was directed by Wes Richardson and builds upon the story laid out in The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues (2011 EP) and the forthcoming, 12-track concept album The Parallax II: Future Sequence. “Quote from Tommy explaining how the video ties into the overarching story of The Parallax,” explains singer/songwriter Tommy Rogers. “Words words words.”

CRITICALLY REVERED PROG METAL BAND TO TOP BILL OF 2011 "SAINTS & SINNERS" TOUR

Globally celebrated progressive rock / cutting-edge metal innovators BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME (aka BTBAM) has announced a fall North American headlining tour in support of its new LP The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues. The award winning band will headline the 2011 "Saints & Sinners" Tour and launch the six week trek on 10/27 in Charlotte, NC. Support on the BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME tour will come from Animals as Leaders and TesseracT with tickets available for advance purchase now at this location. Released on April 12 via Metal Blade Records, The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues is a three-song strong, 30 minute tour de force of modern heavy music. Produced and engineered by the Grammy award–winning David Bottrill (Tool, Muse, King Crimson, Dream Theater, etc.) with BTBAM, the record soared to #54 on the Billboard Top 200 chart in its first week of release while landing the #5 spot on the Hard Music chart, and #8 on the Independent Albums chart in its first week of release. The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues also debuted in Canada charting at #62 on the Top 200 Current chart, #6 on the Hard chart, and #14 on the Independent chart.
