SPIN Magazine just released their 20 Best Metal Albums of 2011, including EIGHT titles/artists represented under the Earsplit PR banner! ALL PIGS MUST DIE: New Track Premiere Via Pitchfork



Today Pitchfork Media are hosting the premiere of a brand new track from ALL PIGS MUST DIE's recently released God Is War, dropping the volatile and crushing "The Blessed Void" on your Monday like a mallet to the head. The sheer anger and combustible energy harnessed within this song will surely get your blood boiling, from the punk-infused d-beat attack kicking it off, to the gloomy, slow-motion Swedish death-influenced bridge, to the guitar solo-infused high-speed metallic hardcore finale.



The CD pressing of God Is War was just unleashed in North America last week, and while the deluxe 180-gram, thick-cut gatefold 12" version awaits it's official street date of August 30th, it is already available via Southern Lord's online store.

Having just returned from several appearances on the West Coast as part of The Power Of The Riff, the band are now home and plotting new live assaults for the coming months, including an upcoming night of brutality supporting Cleveland metalcore heroes Integrity at a rare live performance in New London, Connecticut on October 1st.

ALL PIGS MUST DIE Unleash New Song

ALL PIGS MUST DIE


Today we're pleased to assault the public with a brand new track from ALL PIGS MUST DIE's riotous debut full-length, God Is War, scheduled for release via Southern Lord on August 16. Brooklyn Vegan has hosted a premiere of the album's second track, "Pulverization," and we're fairly certain you'll agree it's a more than apt title for the menacing anthem.

In advance of the day of reckoning when this monstrous album is set loose next month, the members of ALL PIGS MUST DIE are available for phone interrogations throughout next week -- late morning through late evening, Monday 7/18 through Friday 7/22. Most of the band is available so just submit your phone number and your best available times to talk and we will make one of the members available to you.

*NOTE; APMD made a song title change that did not make our last press release. Contrary to the previous album update the 7th track on the album has been changed to "Extinction Is Ours" in the final track listing.

ALL PIGS MUST DIE: Debut Full-Length Confirmed For August Release


Massachusetts slaughter squad ALL PIGS MUST DIE are preparing to set their debut full-length loose on the public this Summer. Entitled God Is War, the pummeling eight-song record album has officially been set for release on August 16, 2011 via Southern Lord Recordings, and bears some of the most hate-fueled hymns of the year.

Combining of old-school Swedish death metal savagery with explosive hardcore aggression and blistering, punk/d-beat energy, ALL PIGS MUST DIE have quickly become an extremely recognized and respected act in the mere year and a half since the band's formation. Their crushing 2010-released self-titled EP was initially released on LP via the band's own Nonbeliever Records, eventually catching the ear of Southern Lord, who almost immediately picked up the album for distribution, and signed the hard-working act for the release of their newly completed God Is War full-length.

A group committed to uncompromising sonic warfare APMD explode on God Is War, the album's sound and lyrical content assaulting the listener in a fury of death-filled anthems. Their upbeat flurry is slowed only for the occasional snail-paced buildup of mammoth riff tension, the rush of obvious hatred for humanity relentlessly displayed through it all. Recorded and mixed by Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou at his God City Studio (Black Breath, Nails, Trap Them, Disfear) in December, the tone of God Is War is as foreboding as the music itself. The cover bears a fittingly dark drawing by famed artist Florian Bertmer, who was also responsible for the artwork on APMD's self-titled EP. ALL PIGS MUST DIE contains vocalist Kevin Baker (The Hope Conspiracy), drummer Ben Koller (Converge), guitarist Adam Wentworth (Bloodhorse) and bassist Matt Woods (Bloodhorse). Since uniting in APMD in 2010, the band have toured regionally throughout the U.S., including multiple major assaults at this year's SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, and several Scion-sponsored music showcases including their first West Coast appearance at Los Angeles' The Roxy. ALL PIGS MUST DIE Ink Deal With Southern Lord


Massachusetts-based hardcore squad ALL PIGS MUST DIE have recently signed a deal with Southern Lord Recordings for their upcoming full-length, due to be unleashed this Summer.
 
The band's members hail from known modern hardcore/metal acts yet turn their more crust punk/d-beat-driven aggression outward with ALL PIGS MUST DIE. The band released their self-titled debut EP on their own Nonbeliever Records in 2010, and have toured regionally over recent months, already amassing a diehard legion of followers.
 
While little info on the upcoming new album is available for public disbursement at press time, we do know that the unit recorded the upcoming full-length album, entitled God Is War, at Kurt Ballou's infamous Godcity Studios, and the album will be coming together for a release during the Summer months of 2011. Complete album info will be released in the coming weeks.
 
ALL PIGS MUST DIE will perform at several events during this year's SXSW, including the Full Metal Texas showcase alongside Rwake, Trap Them, Hull and more, as well as the Power Of The Riff/Southern Lord showcase where they'll tear it up with Trash Talk, Trap Them, The Secret, Eagle Twin, Masakari and The County Bucks. APMD will also be on tour with 'Lord labelmates Nails on their upcoming East Coast dates in March.
