DuskMachine streams "I Feel No Pain"

After founding DuskMachine in summer 2004, original members Nikolai Wurk (guitar), Randy Black (drums), Peter Habura (bass) and Hagen Hirschmann (vocals) didn't waste time and put together song-material and the concept-idea for their first album. It was clear at once that the new compositions would be very rhythmical, modern and deep in content. In the style of works by E.T.A. Hoffmann (a German writer in 19th century), an emotional concept story, which depicts the life of the main character from birth to death, was created. Finally, it is brought to life by the atmospheric and pounding compositions of the band.

Then it happened that Peter Habura decided to leave the band due to his increasing workload at his job. A new band member could be found in Russ Bergquist, long-time bass-player of the canadian Thrash-Metal legend "Annihilator".

In September 2006, founding-member and singer Hagen Hirschmann left the band due to personal reasons. Almost a year later, Mirko "The Preacher" Prietzsch (ex-Respawn, Mr. Mo) completed the line-up and became the new frontman for the DuskMachine but left in early 2010 before the completion of the bands second album. What would have been a setback for most bands appeared to be, well….let’s call it destiny. Joe Comeau, long-time guitar player for „Overkill“ and singer for various bands including „Annihilator“ agreed immediately to take over vocal-duties. With this line-up, the band is stronger than ever and ready to prove it.

So, the band prepared to play live-shows to promote their new self-titled album "DuskMachine". Check it out the track "I Feel No Pain", enjoy!

“I don’t believe in heaven, I believe in pain, I believe in fear, I believe in death” i.e. Torn The Fuck Apart`s The Dissection Of Christ

The super gore Torn The Fuck Apart death metal band released past April 2012 their latest album “The Dissection Of Christ”. The presence of the brutal sound which we are used from their past works is inevitable, pure death metal, pure chaos unleashed in every note, we really can feel their rage when listening to their blasting music. This work is not for the weaklings especially for those who believe in religion, this is pure hate against Christ. Torn The Fuck Apart give us their side of view with really good statements in which religion is not the path for humankind, in music such as “God´s Blood Turned Black” and “Our Serpent Savior” there are affirmations from the movie Religulous said by Bill Maher: “plain fact is religion must die for mankind to live” and “Faith means making a virtue out of not thinking”. If you want to know more you have to see the movie. They also use references such as the game Max Pain “I don’t believe in heaven, I believe in pain, I believe in fear, I believe in death”, they use the “miracle” scene in Pulp Fiction movie to mock those who believe in miracles, and other strong references but the funny part is to find those lines scattered in their music and guess where you have heard it before.

When I hear Torn The Fuck Apart I remember of the deathcore band killWhitneyDead that also transmits their messages trough important movies sentences, the good cultural taste in junction with furious death metal convey an image of intellectuality and knowledge that shows that metal isn´t for people who only headbang to loud music, metal is much deeper than that.

Dark times are coming… INTO DARKNESS TOUR 2012 with MOONSPELL

INTO DARKNESS TOUR 2012 w/ PAIN, MOONSPELL, SWALLOW THE SUN and LAKE OF TEARS

The gaping, sinister and black abyss has many faces – just like its musical offspring…for the second time, the INTO DARKNESS tour will crawl upon Europe! In time for the dawning of black winter days, a live package will start hitting clubs November 9th and boasting a line up full of dark gems of the widest stylistic variety: industrial metal, gothic tunes, melancholic doom – this tour has it all!

MOONSPELL from Portugal had their breakthrough in 1996 with “Irreligious” and on tour with TYPE O NEGATIVE. Now they`ll crown the INTO DARKNESS tour with sophistication, catchiness and sonar vastness! Call it gothic metal, call it avant-garde dark metal – MOONSPELL are guaranteed to make heads turn with their upcoming double release “Alpha Noir” and “Omega White”!

Swedish legends PAIN featuring maestro Peter Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY) will fill the headliner position, and this act can truly make the dead dance! Morbid lyrics meet stomping industrial beats and wicked metal guitars: a band to make every goth, EBM freak and metalhead in the audience happy with evergreens such as ‘Eleanor Rigby‘, ‘Follow Me‘ or ‘Shut Your Mouth‘! 2011 saw the release of “You Only Live Twice” and PAIN are renowned to spr ead a heavy and somber atmosphere live especially.

Some like to lump them into the doom category, but Finns SWALLOW THE SUN rather see themselves as blacksmiths of melancholic metal. Recently they issued “Emerald Forest And The Blackbird” and made it clear that they are unmatched with their concoction of slow motion sound, depressing melodies, nightmarish atmosphere and a bit of death metal heaviness. LAKE OF TEARS on the other hand seem to change styles with every album, but one thing remains the same: the sheer darkness lurking behind all the highly melodic compositions of the Swedish veterans. Grandiose albums like “Illwill” (2009) melt goth sounds with death metal and catchiness.

An exciting and varied line up that will haunt European clubs in November – check www.intodarkness.eu regularly for updates and your very own INTO DARKNESS tickets!
